Vertical Slicer

The HEINEN KÖHL slicer gently cuts the tobacco bales into equally thick slices. It is provided with the latest technical design and development to create a constant and even tobacco flow for the subsequent tobacco treatment. The Slicer is designed for the processing of previously divided C48 bales and entire C48 size bales as well. Half bales will be cut vertically into a maximum of 2 slices with the same size and entire bales into 4 slices. The constant size of the slices is retained through sensors measuring the bale length.

Besides Burley, Orient and Virginia the slicer is able to handle reconstituted tobacco bales. Small Orient bales will be automatically identified and passed through without being sliced.

The knife blade is bolted to the cutting device and can be replaced easily for maintenance and replacement.

The slicer features the newest design of the cutting table with pneumatic pins allowing a clear cut and the support of the slice for even tobacco flow without gaps.
