Safety lighting
Normally, lighting installations are powered from the mains electrical supply. However, safety lighting is required if failure of the general lighting installations could lead to personal injury or economic damage.
In the event of a fault in the power supply to the general lighting, safety lighting will provide a prescribed minimum luminosity for rooms, work places and - in particular - emergency escape routes during the times required, e.g. during business hours.
Various regulations apply in this field, for example for safety lighting systems according to VDE 0108 (General areas) and VDE 0100/710 (Hospital areas).
Depending on the specific requirements of the customer, we plan and implement systems with either individual batteries, group batteries or central batteries.
