Fault Warning Systems
For one of our customers we developed a fault warning system which was based on standard industrial components.
This was a key customer requirement, as the customer had already had previous bad experiences with the expansion and upgrade options for traditional fault warning systems.
Requirements for the system:
The fault messages need to be detected in real time and signalled with multiple redundancies.
The following message paths are used:
- E-mail via LAN
- SMS via GSM
- Signal sent via telephone line
All field devices which are used are peripheral devices which are suitable for use in industrial applications, and they are also devices which are used elsewhere by the customer.
