EIB European Installation Bus
The European Installation Bus combines the conventional tasks of an electrical installation system with cross-functional functions in home and building systems.
The bus cable connects every device to a central communication device. This allows you for example to control heating, lighting, blinds and shutters or implement burglar or fire alarm systems.
KNX provides a link between a multitude of functions and enables them to communicate with each other. Thanks to standards which are already well established in Europe - and in some cases also outside Europe - products all speak the same language, regardless of manufacturer.
The KNX technology connects individual devices to an energy-saving and optimised overall system. For the developer/builder, this offers the utmost in flexibility and upgradability - making your investment safe for the future. Existing installations can be upgraded or modified on customer request. Thanks to the use of the standard software ETS, this is possible at any time.
